Last week, Sergio Gutiérrez, a researcher from the University of Cantabria, traveled to Lisbon to continue the validation of the HAMSYS technology together with FCT-NOVA and Ambigroup Recyclagem, counting with the remote assistance of Apria.
During the week, the validation activities focused on optimizing the selective separation of the individual components of R-410A (i.e. R32 and R-125 fluorinated gases) through the first stage of the HAMSYS process, the membrane technology. The samples generated will be analyzed in the coming weeks and will support the planning of upcoming experiments.
