Sergio Valentín, PhD student in the framework of the Life-4-fgases project at the University of Cantabria, has carried out a predoctoral research stay at the University of Kansas (USA).
This stay took place at the Wonderful Institute for Sustainable Engineering, Department of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering from June 1st to July 31st under the supervision of Professor Mark B. Shiflett.
During these months, Sergio has worked on the synthesis of thin-film composite hollow fibers for the separation of refrigerated gases, which will be an important improvement of the know-how of the project.
