Our technical partner, FCT-NOVA participated in the EuChemS Chemistry Congress (ECC8) held in Lisbon from 28th August to 1st September 2022. In this Congress, organized by the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ), with the support of the Portuguese Electrochemical Society (SPE), our partner presented the communication entitled “Adsorption processes for the reclamation of R-32 from refrigerant blends and complex waste mixtures”. By this contribution, NOVA addressed the advantages of the adsorption technology for the separation and recovery of fluorinated gases and its synergic combination with membrane technology (HAMSYS technology) within the framework of the LIFE-4-Fgases project for the reclamation of refrigerant blends.
